had a private chat with my boss today.
i haven expected myself to really initiate it but it just happen…
for those who had seen my status on facebook a few days ago,
u guys probably would have guessed that i’m really unhappy at work.
and i am!
i’ve always tot i can play my supporting role well and maintain a good working relationship with the “lead”
but of coz i’m wrong and i cant take as much “shit” as i thought i can.
it really reach a breaking point that day during meeting and i got real demoralised.
i think i hit the nail and get my point across to my boss when he hear me say ” i was told to get a RULER”
if i’m a office girl or secretary or personal assistant,
i would have gladly done that for u.
but sadly… i’m not.
i’m a freaking engineer whom u called in to attend the meeting with u and that’s what u want me to do?!
if i’m really so that “valuable” to u, i believe u would have put me to better use.
and dun freaking complain that u’re really very busy when u chose to hog all the work for urself.
u want to cover everything by urself, then by all means do it!
if u like to keep all the information to urself, then dun say “i’ll share everything regarding the project with u” in the beginning.
when reality and expectation dun match, u’re not going to get a motivated worker.
since i dunno exactly what happened in the project, u shldnt and dun expect me to be committed!
i’ve no plans to waste my time on unknowns.
and to accumulate the transmittals that came more than a month ago before u finally decide that the work is “urgent” and throw it to ur one and only engineer.
i can only say… what “excellent” planning u had!
and then to pull the work away halfway and propose to give me “more impt” stuff to work on…
u’re really good at faking!
u dun like ppl to challenge u. then dun bother asking next time.
and pls… pass the job to the draughtsmen then.
u get a engineer to do a draughtsmen job for u, then expect he/she to have an opinion!
and dun every little thing also pull boss name in.
u want to use the boss as shield? it just show how terrible u are at solving problems.
and come on… just bcoz i passed u fail doesnt mean anything.
just bcoz u think u put in more effort in studying, doesnt mean u’re more deserving to pass.
what makes u think that bcoz i din memorise as much things as u then i shldnt pass?
what kind of logic is that?
i was gullible and believed in u previously.
but now i’m beginning to doubt u and think that u’re someone that 说一套，做一套
i was happy to be in my own world previously…
now u brought me into the politics…
i hope u wont feel sorry next time.

anyway, boss kinda “promised” a plan for me in the near future.
i’m just hoping that it’s going to happen.
